Team Saskatchewan does have a nice ring to it!
It has been a while since we have given an update and the keeper of this site would like to appologize for not providing updates during the recent Womens' Provincials in Kindersley. The devasting fire to the arena which was connected to the curling club in Kindersley turned getting new equipment, outdoor shoes, winter jackets into a priority. As such, the website was unfortunately put on the back burner in order to be able to best prepare for the circumstances created by the fire.
It seems to have been worthwhile because we were able to continue to play well at the Eston Curling Club and finish first in our pool. We lost to Sherry Anderson in the 1-1 game and defeated Stephanie Lawton in the semi-final. Advancing to the final, we persevered in a tight game with Sherry Anderson and were able to steal 2 points in the ninth end which helped us on our way to a Provincial title.
We have been very busy lately preparing for our trip to the Scotties and we would like to thank our fifth Jolene Campbell for agreeing to rejoin our team! Another huge thank you goes out to our family, friends, fans and sponsors for the overwhelming amount of congratulatory messages! We really appreciate your support!
Until next time (sooner rather than later),

We have had some time to attempt to digest our tie-breaker loss against Krista McCarville over the holiday season. We hope that all of our fans, friends and sponsors had a safe and family filled holiday season.
We are looking forward to Provincials in Kindersley, January 6th-10th. We look forward to all of your well wishes and we thank you in advance for them. We hope to play well and let consistency lead to success. Once again, we will be providing a day by day of the event as seen through our eyes!
